Feeding Directions

Feed freely or in controlled portions. Always make sure your bird has access to clean, fresh drinking water. Check the food bowl regularly to ensure it is sufficiently full, and that the food has not been soiled. Discard soiled food, and replace with fresh, clean food. 

If you are feeding in portions it is important that you adjust the amount of food as necessary to maintain healthy body condition. The table below is to be used as a reference for how much food your bird may require daily. Adjust the amount of food to best suit your individual bird’s needs. Please note that bird’s being kept communally or in pairs will require more food, the table is reflective of one individual bird.
