- Clamp type bearing lockuts eliminate marring inherent with set screw types. Ruland bearing locknuts have tigher face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤.0005") than standard collars for precise fit against joined components such as spindle bearings.
- Ruland double taps threads for a burr free finish allowing for extended shaft life, improved fit, and easier installation and removal. Threads manufactured to AFBMA standards for fit on like shafting.
- Made from 1215 lead-free steel with a proprietary black oxide finish for high holding power, a fine glossy finish, weldability, and corrosion resistance.
- Hardware exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. Ruland shaft collars are carefully made from select North American bar stock in our Marlborough, Massachusetts factory and are RoHS3 and REACH compliant.
