DISCOVERING AMERICAN DREAM: From TeTu NYERI, to Hollywood CALI (7/17/22 Book 1)

We go through the journey of Jonah Karicho who traveled from TeTu Village in Nyeri to Hollywood at Los Angeles California in search of a better life. A war broke out in Kenya when British empire made my society tenants of their own land. This war will then change society's way of life for good from religion to politics. JoJo Showcali great grandfather, Nduto, was welcomed to royalty and leadership because he had vast tracts of land and a large herd of cattle. Karicho's grandfather later followed his dads footsteps to become the chief of TeTu but the leadership did not last for long because of violence and curfew. After he left leadership, Mathenge sold all his land to quench his drinking habits, leaving his children without land or resources. Karicho was born into poverty which has no roots but believed that he was born into a royalty bloodline for a reason. In search of a better life, Karicho was accepted at Northwest Missouri State University where he eventually graduated in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Karicho worked at various companies before he quit a six-figure consulting job at Bank of America to become a star in Hollywood California performing stand-up comedy. In Hollywood, Karicho attended The Los Angeles film school where he earned a degree in Music and film production before going back to Dallas for software implementation and side hustle logistics business.
